Carlisle Auctions has quietly gone from hosting auctions that yielded great results to loudly positioning itself as an auction house known for getting top dollar for consignments and results for its buyers and sellers! After TWO great events in 2022, the Lakeland Winter Collector Car Auction in February and the Spring Carlisle Collector Car Auction in April, Carlisle Events’ auction house turns its attention to September 29-30 and the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction!
Starting 12 p.m. daily, the auction brings together decades of automotive excellence. Lots span from the late1920’s through at least 2016. Best of all, the gallery of cars covers a variety of auto makers and caliber of show car. There are cars, trucks, street rods, best of show gems, and daily drivers coming to auction and of course each is available to the highest bidder each day. Carlisle Auctions WILL yield results, as the collector car market continues to be at an all-time highwater mark as demand and interest goes. Consignments coming to Carlisle come from dealers, collectors and the average Jane or Joe who enjoys a classic but wants to move on from their current ride in favor of something “new.”
Carlisle Auctions is also showcasing a duo of collections AND its increasingly popular All-Truck Hour (ATH). As the collections go, they come to the Carlisle Expo Center by way of builder and enthusiast Dave Ferro of Totally Auto, Inc. and from Bill Miller, co-founder of Carlisle Events. Dave is offering nine lots, while Bill presents 20. Each collection holds a special place in the hearts of their current owners and will make a great showpiece going forward for any prospective buyer. The Dave Ferro Collection includes modified and custom rides, including a 1967 Plymouth GTX that’s won multiple best of show awards. For the Bill Miller Collection, his mix of rides include many that are low mileage, original, and/or have had just one or two owners prior to him.
Though the auction does start at 12 p.m. each day, the collections have special run times. The Bill Miller Collection is scheduled for 3 p.m. on September 29, with the All-Truck Hour thereafter at 4 p.m., while the Dave Ferro Collection is planned for 4 p.m. on September 30. Preview times for these special lots as well as the others confirmed for the Fall Carlisle event start at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28.
The Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction runs in conjunction with Fall Carlisle itself (September 28-October 2) at the neighboring Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. Registration as a buyer or seller offers reciprocating access to Fall Carlisle. Here, even more cars are for sale in the car corral, as well as millions of automotive pieces, parts, merchandise, and collectibles within the automotive flea market and midway.
Speaking of auctions, the Bill Miller Collection extends beyond the Carlisle Expo Center. Leading up to the start of Fall Carlisle, Bill will host a collectibles and merchandise auction on September 26-27 at 1188 Spring Rd. in Carlisle. This auction starts at 10 a.m. daily, with preview times and collectibles bidder registration starting at 8 a.m.
Cars, collectibles, merchandise and items for sale…all in one area, all spanning seven days in Central Pennsylvania! A gallery of items from the Bill Miller Collection, plus details on the Miller auction, admission tickets for Fall Carlisle, details, and more are available at CarlisleEvents.com.
